North Lincoln lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ashlyn Black, who scored 19 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Hailey Hagler, who scored 16 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
East Lincoln's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Emma Montanari led the charge by scoring 30 points along with eight rebounds and seven steals. Montanari is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Kiara Anderson, who dropped a double-double on 33 points and 11 rebounds.
North Lincoln has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-6 record this season. As for East Lincoln, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-1.
