Trinity Academy had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They took their game against Hampton by a conclusive 28-6 score. After losing to Hampton the last time they met, Trinity Academy decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play.
Trinity Academy got off to a sluggish start, posting 6 total points in the first half. The score was 6-6. The offense took control in the second half,however, scoring 22 points. This was the first game for both teams, giving Trinity Academy a 1-0 record and starting Hampton off at 0-1.
