Galena was sadly handed a defeat on Monday, but Wyatt Doak did his best to prevent it. Despite the loss, Doak was still locked in as he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out nine over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Doak and Galena are taking a road trip to take on New Covenant Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
