It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Tioga Bulldogs can now relate to. They were outmatched by the Bulldogs on the road and fell 46-14. Tioga's loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
Hayden Hilliard threw for 228 yards and a touchdown. Austin Norwood was his top target, picking up 146 receiving yards. On the ground, Jonathan Hernandez rushed for 39 yards and a touchdown.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Marlin to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mario Hopwood, who rushed for 124 yards and three touchdowns. I'aire Kee was another major influence, as he rushed for 92 yards and ran in a TD.
Tioga's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Marlin, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-1-1.
Tioga does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Marlin is on the road again on Thursday and play against Tolar at 7:00 p.m. on November 30th. Tolar has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 468 points over their last nine matchups.
