Delone Catholic was sadly handed a loss on Monday, but Mason Hewitt did his best to prevent it. Hewitt wasn't messing around, tossing three innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits. The pitching appearance was his fifth straight with two or fewer walks.

Looking ahead, Hewitt and Delone Catholic will be playing in front of their home fans against Fairfield at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Despite Hewitt's best efforts to the contrary, the Squires will head into their next match having dropped four straight contests. Will Wednesday be the turning point?
