Union waltzed into their game on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Hermann Bearcats a 12-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won seven matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Union's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Hermann, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Union wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 15-0 win against Owensville on the 8th. As for Hermann, they have also already played their next game, a 17-2 loss against Sullivan on the 8th.
