After a string of three wins, The First Academy's good fortune finally ran out  on Friday. They fell just short of the Montverde Academy Eagles by a score of  5-4.  At the plate,  Arnaldo Gonzalez was  excellent,  going 1-for-3 with a  triple and a  run.  Federic Irving was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 3-for-4.
 The First Academy's loss dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Montverde Academy, their victory was  their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 9-6.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. The First Academy will take on Trinity Catholic at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The First Academy's pitching crew has only allowed three  runs per game  this season, so Trinity Catholic's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Montverde Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Trinity Prep at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
