Out-of-Door Academy proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by six) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Southwest Florida Christian King 3-2. The victory continues a trend for the Thunder in their matchups with the King's: they've now won three in a row.

Out-of-Door Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-7. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Southwest Florida Christian, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-8.

Looking ahead, Out-of-Door Academy will head out on the road to challenge Braden River at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Southwest Florida Christian, they will host Palmetto Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
