The Rockwell Marshals waltzed into their contest Thursday with two straight wins but they left with three. They enjoyed a cozy 68-54 victory over Waterford. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Rockwell also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rockwell to victory, but perhaps none more so than Roman Haueter, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 12 rebounds. Those 12 rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Kaysen Rife, who went 6 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 24 points and 0 assists.
Rockwell pushed their record up to 6-4 with that win, which was their third straight at home. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 23.67 points. As for Waterford, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.
Rockwell will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Utah Military Academy - Hill Field at 7:00 p.m. on January 2, 2024. Utah Military Academy - Hill Field is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. Waterford will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on North Summit at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2024.
