Winfield extended their postseason success on Saturday against Vinemont. They put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 10-2 victory. Considering the Pirates have won 21 contests by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the 15th in a row for Winfield, bringing their record up to 32-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Vinemont, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 32-13.

Winfield will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair will be back at it again later today.
