With a playoff game on the line, the Chrisman Cardinals rose to the challenge on Saturday. They walked away with a 37-26 win over the Hawks. The victory was just what Chrisman needed coming off of a 60-15 loss in their prior match.
Chrisman got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Taylor Jones out in front who scored seven points along with 14 rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Lyndsi Smith, who scored 11 points.
Chrisman's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-19. As for Heritage, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-27.
Chrisman didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 49-15 loss vs. Salt Fork on the 12th. Heritage does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
