The Abraham Clark Rams were the 65-52 winner over the Rahway Indians when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Abraham Clark had to suffer through a rough 73-31 loss at the hands of Rahway. Abraham Clark has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Rahway's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Isaiah Gurley led the charge by scoring 19 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was James Downing, who scored 18 points.
Abraham Clark's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Rahway, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-1.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Scotch Plains-Fanwood the next time they take the court. Rahway will head out to face Scotch Plains-Fanwood at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Abraham Clark will host them at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
