The Central Valley Hawks scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They walked away with a 73-60 win over Buhach Colony. The victory was some much needed relief for Central Valley as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Central Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Bryan Rodriguez, who scored nine points along with 14 rebounds. That's the first time this season that Rodriguez pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Robbie Singh, who scored 17 points.
Central Valley's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-14. As for Buhach Colony, they bumped their record down to 8-11 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Central Valley will face off against Golden Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Golden Valley presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Central Valley in California (Golden Valley is ranked 324th, while Central Valley is ranked 1107th). As for Buhach Colony, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Patterson at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Patterson will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
