The Spencer County Bears were the 67-65 winner over the DeSales Colts when they last played one another back in December of 2016, but their luck changed this time around. Spencer County took a 66-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of DeSales on Saturday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.

Perhaps the best among them was Camden Cox, who scored 17 points along with 9 rebounds. The contest was Cox's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Jack Armstrong was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 5 rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for Spencer County and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for DeSales, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Spencer County will take on Jeffersontown at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. DeSales will be home for the holidays to greet Iroquois at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
