Meanwhile, Nelsonville-York really took it to Eastern for the full four quarters, racking up a 75-41 victory at home. The victory was just what Nelsonville-York needed coming off of a 74-50 loss in their prior match.
Airah Lavy was on fire: she scored 27 points along with 8 assists and 8 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Nelsonville-York's points. Alayna Okulich was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 19 rebounds.
The losses dropped Vinton County to 1-3 and Logan to 1-1.
