Boonton gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener  on Friday. They were the clear victor by  a  27-6 margin over the Belvidere County Seaters. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bombers also won the last time the pair played  back in August of 2023.
 Boonton had a senior duo take command as  Colin Bostrom rushed for 88 yards and a touchdown and  Sylas White rushed for 62 yards and two touchdowns. Bostrom got the majority of those yards when he took off on a run and that went for an incredible50 yards.
 Boonton was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 241  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 220  rushing yards in four consecutive  matches  dating back to last season.

 Belvidere's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
 Boonton will take on Parsippany at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Belvidere, they will be defending their home-field for the first timethey go up against North Plainfield  on Friday.
