Letcher County Central took down McCreary Central 56-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
The Cougars / Lady Cougars led 5A District 8 in scoring this week after putting up 56 points on the Raiders.
Carson Whitehead was a passing and rushing force as Harlan County bested Clay County.
Whitehead was the most successful running back in the league this week. In 13 carries, he ran for 90 yards as the Black Bears defeated the Tigers. Fred Massey also contributed to the rushing game with 34 yards on the ground.
Wilson was the best receiver in the league this week as Harlan County topped Clay County.
Nathan Pray put up the best numbers in passing as Perry County Central lost to Corbin. He finished with 4 completions for 21 yards. Pray's favorite target this week was John Toomer, who caught 2 passes for 12 yards.
Tom Larkey's team made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 652 from 796. The improvement came about via a 42-0 victory over Evan Napier's team last week.
