Kentwood had lost four games on the road, but after bumping their record up to 5-12 on Friday that streak is in the rearview. They put the hurt on the Kennedy Catholic Lancers with a sharp 20-7 win. The Conquerors' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Sofia Mottern Salinas was incredible, going 4-for-5 with one home run, seven RBI, and three runs. Those seven RBI gave her a new career-high. Lysa Napihaa was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs and one RBI.
