Even though Chelsea has not done well against the Mustangs recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Chelsea came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 68-58. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Chelsea.
Meanwhile, Lynn English unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 78-74 hit to the loss column at the hands of Charlestown.
Kyle Kemembin put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 29 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Pierre Veras was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven rebounds.
Chelsea's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-10. As for Lynn English, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-3.
Chelsea lost to the Bulldogs on the road by a decisive 78-62 margin in their previous meeting back in January. Can Chelsea avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
