The Badger Braves can now show off 12 landslide victories after their most recent game on Thursday. They blew past Pymatuning Valley 59-31 on the road. The victory was nothing new for Badger as they're now sitting on four straight.
Leading Badger to victory were Gabriella Miller and Katie Grexa. Miller scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals, while Grexa scored 25 points along with nine rebounds and five steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Grexa has scored at least a third of Badger's points. Brianna Huscroft was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
When it comes to explaining why Pymatuning Valley lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jolene Sharpe. Despite the final result, she scored eight points.
Pymatuning Valley struggled to work together and finished the game with only an assist. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Badger's victory bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Pymatuning Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Badger will take on Hubbard at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
