After two weeks on the road, Northlake Christian is heading back home. On Friday they take on Independence at 7:00 PM. Northlake Christian come in off of five low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the team is obviously eager to reverse.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-55, which was the final score in Northlake Christian's tilt against Amite last Friday.
Meanwhile, Independence came up short against St. Thomas Aquinas, falling 6-20.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Neither squad could put together much of an offensive attack, so expect every point to count.
