Mountain View Christian Academy was handed a two-point defeat in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Highland View Academy on Thursday. Mountain View Christian Academy was the clear victor by a 42-19 margin over Highland View Academy. That 23 points margin sets a new team best for Mountain View Christian Academy this season.
Mountain View Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Zoe Harbin, who scored 14 points along with eight steals and seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Harbin has scored all season. Eryn Demko was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five steals.
Meanwhile, Randolph-Macon Academy had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 37 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They blew past Tandem Friends 48-9 on the road.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Randolph-Macon Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dleanna Hoosain, who scored 15 points. That's the first time this season that Hoosain scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bijou Kebbay, who scored 14 points.
Mountain View Christian Academy's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-3. As for Randolph-Macon Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.
