Boulder Creek is 0-5 against Queen Creek since April of 2021 but things could change on Wednesday. The Jaguars will challenge the Bulldogs at 3:45 p.m. Boulder Creek is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.
Boulder Creek had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 15-run drubbing they dealt Maryvale on Tuesday. The Jaguars' pitchers stepped up to hand the Panthers a 15-0 shutout. With that victory, the Jaguars brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.
Cam Richardson looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He is becoming a predictor of Boulder Creek's success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is 2-1 (and 6-11 when he doesn't).
