The McCook Bison were the 67-41 winner over the Chase County Longhorns when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. McCook fell 58-45 to Chase County on Friday.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Chase County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tristan Jablonski, who scored 13 points along with 7 assists. Camron Lempke was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with 3 steals.
McCook's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Chase County, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
McCook will be playing at home against Valentine at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Valentine focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Thursday. As for Chase County, they will head out on the road to face off against Sidney at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
