While Matthew Knauer delivered a dominant effort on Tuesday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Redwood. Knauer wasn't messing around, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The pitching appearance was his third straight with two or fewer hits.

Even though Knauer couldn't lead Redwood over Tamalpais, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Sadly, Knauer's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Giants' four-game streak of wins at home.
