Armstrong won the last time they faced St. Thomas More and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Trojans blew past the Sabers 18-1. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by eight runs or more this season.

Armstrong has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.4 runs over those games. As for St. Thomas More, they dropped their record down to 0-11 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Armstrong will welcome Iroquois West at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Thomas More, they will host Paxton-Buckley-Loda at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Sabers are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
