Lake Quinault was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from seventh to fifth in 1B Southwest (8 Man). The Elks defeated Oakville 34-6 earlier in the week.
Knight extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Wishkah Valley, 48-26. This was the team's seventh consecutive win.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Knight and Taholah. Eric Smith's team comes into the matchup ranked seventh in the state, while the Chitwin ranks 11th.
Lake Quinault made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 859 from 931. The advance stemmed from a 34-6 victory over the Acorns last week.
