Perhaps the best among them was Josiah Johnson, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. That's the first time this season that Johnson scored 15 or more points. Ben Story was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with five assists and four steals.
Immanuel Christian's victory bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Fort Hancock, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.
Immanuel Christian will look to defend their home court on Friday against Amarillo Collegiate Academy at 6:00 p.m. As for Fort Hancock, they will head out on the road to face off against Patterson Institute at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Patterson Institute and Fort Hancock are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
