The Phillips Wildcats will head out on the road to  face off against  the Hubbard Greyhounds  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Phillips is coming into the  match hot, having won their last six games.
On Saturday, Phillips got the win against Little Village  by a conclusive  20-7. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by eight  runs or more this season.

 Bianca Porterfield was a  major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going a perfect 1-for-1 with one  home run and two  RBI. Those  two  RBI gave  her a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  Welnesha Hall was a standout: she went 1-for-2 with one  home run, five  stolen bases,  and three  runs. That's the most  runs  she has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kamaya Campbell, who  got on base  in all three of her plate appearances with four  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  triple.
 Phillips  lost a few balls and  finished the game with four  home runs. That's the most  home runs they've managed all season.
 Hubbard played against Tilden on Thursday and won via forfeit.
 Phillips pushed their record up to 6-2 with the  victory, which was their third straight  on the road. Those  road  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 16.3 runs over those games. As for Hubbard,  the  victory  got them back to even at 1-1-1.
