It was a good run, but Summerfield unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They were dealt a 64-28 defeat at the hands of the Arcadia Hornets. While losing is never fun, the Rebels can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 309th, while the Hornets are ranked 84th).

Summerfield's loss dropped their record down to 9-17. As for Arcadia, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-3.

Summerfield has already played their next contest, a 44-32 defeat against Cedar Creek on the 16th. As for Arcadia, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 61-41 win against Mangham on the 18th.
