While Lake Catholic didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 43-35 win over the North Rangers on Monday. The Cougars' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Despite the loss, North still got an impressive performance from Kaitlin Dobida, who posted 12 points along with six assists and six boards. The dominant performance gave Dobida a new career-high in assists. Maddy Ferrari was another key player, putting up eight points and nine rebounds.

Lake Catholic's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for North, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.

Lake Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 45-33 loss against Elyria Catholic on the 20th. As for North, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 53-33 victory against Euclid on the 23rd.
