After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Clarkdale, Heidelberg was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Kemper County Wildcats. The Oilers not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 13, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

While Heidelberg won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-18, 25-23.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-7. As for Kemper County, their defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Heidelberg and Enterprise will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Kemper County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against East Webster at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wolverines will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight.
