Softball Recap: Lamphere Has No Trouble Against Center Line

The home team had come away the winner the last seven times Lamphere and Center Line had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Rams blew past the Panthers 22-2 on Tuesday. The match marked the Rams' most dominant victory of the season.

Ella Bennett was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four runs, two stolen bases, and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Faithlynn Donegan (2025), who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs.

Lamphere always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Center Line only posted an OBP of .467.

Lamphere's win bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Center Line, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lamphere will challenge Mott at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Center Line, they will face off against Roseville at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Center Line is facing Roseville at the right time seeing as Roseville is stuck on a 13-game losing streak.
