Softball Recap: Pomperaug Has No Trouble Against Weston

Pomperaug won the last time they faced Weston and things went their way on Thursday too. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over the Trojans. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by six runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Pomperaug and bumps their season record up to 7-8. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 runs in those games. As for Weston, their loss was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-16.
