Kankakee is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Rich Township 20-1 on Tuesday. The Kays might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by ten runs or more this season.

Kylie Glogowski was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Glogowski was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with six RBI, three runs, and one triple. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Kylee Cunningham was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of Calleigh Moody, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base.
Kankakee kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 4.8 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 11.2.
Kankakee's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-7. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Rich Township, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-9.
