Brandon also got a great performance from Jackson Clark as he didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched.
At the plate, Brandon let Graydon Walker and Jay McQueen run wild. Walker scored two runs while going 2-for-4, while McQueen scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4. Those two runs gave Walker a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Keith Forbes, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
The win got Brandon back to even at 1-1. As for Hernando, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.
