Arlington Catholic (Arlington, Mass.) fell 24-13 to
Bishop Fenwick (Peabody, Mass.).
The Cougars pulled ahead on a passing touchdown, and subsequently went into halftime leading 13-12. The Crusaders scored the winning points with a rushing touchdown that came in the third quarter.
Jp Whelan played well for Arlington Catholic. The senior quarterback threw one touchdown and ran for one touchdown.
Coming into the game Bishop Fenwick had allowed 18.3 points per game this year.
The victory is a complete turnaround from last season's game between these two teams, which AC took, 49-22.
The defeat comes as a step back for Arlington Catholic, which notched a 36-18 victory over Archbishop Williams in its previous outing.
Bishop Fenwick (7-3) will play a Catholic Central - Large game against Austin Prep next week, while Arlington Catholic (1-9) will take on Arlington in a non-conference game.
