The Hartford Hurricanes entered their tilt with the Brattleboro Bears with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. Hartford took their contest at home on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 77-37 win over Brattleboro. Hartford has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 24 points or more this season.
Several Bears players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Oscar Korson, who scored six points.
Hartford pushed their record up to 12-1 with that win, which was their third straight at home. As for Brattleboro, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hartford will take on Mount Anthony at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mount Anthony will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Vermont Rankings (they are ranked 31st, while Hartford is ranked fifth). As for Brattleboro, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Burr & Burton at 7:00 p.m.
