The West Noble Chargers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight loss. 2024 welcomed they with a 44-18 loss courtesy of Concord. West Noble was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Concord apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2021.
Alexia Mast was West Noble's leading scorer, having posted 12 points. Mast also led the team in rebounds with five.
Kayle Jordan took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.
Concord's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Hayden Casey, who scored seven points along with 12 rebounds. Those 12 rebounds set a new season-high mark for her. Mileah Mckain was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five rebounds.
West Noble bumped their record down to 1-14 with that defeat, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Concord, their victory bumped their record up to 5-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Noble will challenge Lakeland at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Lakeland focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 last Saturday. Concord will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Goshen at 7:45 p.m. on January 6th. That game will pit two of the most dominant players against one another: Kyra Hill and Dominique Stilley.
