A big 17-point second quarter helped carry
Colquitt County (Moultrie, Ga.) to a 33-0 victory over Carver (Columbus, Ga.) on Saturday.

Colquitt County was up 26-0 at the half after taking the lead on a safety in the first quarter.
CC expanded its lead to 33 points entering the fourth quarter. The Moultrie school's lone score in the quarter came on a
Daniel Mobley touchdown pass to
Todd Boyd.
The Packers' standout player in the win was Pollard. The freshman ran for two touchdowns and kicked one field goal and four extra points.
The loss comes after Carver defeated Shaw 18-13 last week. With the win Colquitt County extended its winning streak to three games. The loss snapped the Tigers' 2-game winning streak.
Colquitt County (3-1) will play a AAAAAA Region 1 game against Lowndes next week, while Carver (2-1) will take on Tri-Cities in a non-conference game.
