Chris Gordon and Co. Win 18th in a Row
Chris Gordon's big game helped extend Tatnall's winning streak to 18 on Friday. Gordon picked up 205 receiving yards and four touchdowns, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. Perhaps even more impressive was his lead-up to Friday's contest, in which he outscored his previous point total for three consecutive games.
Tatnall's win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. Gordon and Tatnall will venture away from home to square off against DuPont at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Effort from Juan Aldas Leads Wilmington Charter over St. Elizabeth
On Saturday, Wilmington Charter got the W thanks in part to Juan Aldas playing the best football he has all season. Aldas picked up a sack and made 16 total tackles (3.0 for loss), good enough to also set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Aldas is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Delcastle Technical on Friday. When Aldas last faced the Cougars back in October of 2023, he picked up two sacks, forced a fumble, and made 15 total tackles (4.0 for loss).

Smith Came Up Big in Glasgow's 25-12 Loss
While Glasgow might've come up empty on Friday, Jamar Smith wasn't going down without a fight. Smith turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 140 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.8 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 90-yard run.
Glasgow dropped their record down to 1-6 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. Smith and Glasgow will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on DuPont at 6:00 p.m. on October 25th.

Tatnall Wins 18th-Straight Thanks to Quinn De Viere
Quinn De Viere was instrumental in extending Tatnall's winning streak to 18 on Friday. De Viere turned in his biggest game of the season, throwing for 342 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 14.3 yards per attempt.
This year, De Viere has thrown 13 touchdowns while averaging 146.5 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 1.67 passing yards per game.

Jude Maycole Turns in Season-Best Effort
Tatnall picked up their 18th consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Jude Maycole. Maycole turned in his biggest game of the season, picking up 109 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 66 yards.
For the year, Maycole has caught 5 touchdowns while averaging 37.3 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he had two receiving touchdowns.
