The Parkview Christian Academy Falcons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They fell 66-53 to Mooseheart. Parkview Christian Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Mooseheart apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2020.
Parkview Christian Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kashton Wilson, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds. That's the first time this season that Wilson scored 15 or more points. Christian Mulder was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven assists.
Mooseheart got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Nishi Amos out in front who scored 19 points. The game was Amos' third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was John McGowin, who scored 18 points.
Parkview Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Mooseheart, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
Parkview Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against Somonauk at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Mooseheart will be home for the holidays to greet Hiawatha at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hiawatha is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
