The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as Mae Jemison just coasted through the last quarter.
Several Red Devils players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jaala Hawkins, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Kylie Graham, who scored four points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Mae Jemison's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-12. As for Lawrence County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 15 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.
Mae Jemison won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Trojans at 5:30 p.m. on February 2nd. Hazel Green is coming into the match hot, having won their last ten games. Lawrence County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
