Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Liberty-Benton). They were the clear victors by a 25-7 margin over the Rossford Bulldogs on Thursday. In other batting news, Hayden Gillig was incredible, getting on base in all six of her plate appearances with seven RBI, three runs, and two doubles. Those seven RBI gave her a new career-high. Sydney Ruetz also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Liberty-Benton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .769. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
