The Redmond Panthers will take on the St. Helens Lions at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. St. Helens took a loss in their last  contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Redmond, who comes in off a win.
 Redmond took a loss when they played away from home  two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  on Friday. They blew past Southridge, posting  a  36-0 win at home.
 Redmond had a senior duo take command as  Eli Pupo rushed for 165 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries and  Jack Snyder rushed for 80 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Redmond was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 315  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2023.
 One reason for the win was Redmond's imposing  defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. Southridge's QB  won't forget  Wyatt Bigelow anytime soon given he sacked him twice.
 Meanwhile, St. Helens was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight  defeat  dating back to last season. They came up short against  Parkrose, falling  34-13. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  loss the Lions have suffered  against the Broncos since September 5, 2014.
 Redmond's first  victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for St. Helens, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
 Everything came up roses for Redmond against St. Helens in their previous matchup  back in September of 2019, as the  squad secured  a  44-7 win. Will Redmond repeat their success,  or does  St. Helens have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
