Devante Palacio Turns in Season-Best  Performance
 On Friday, Chester got the W thanks in part to  Devante Palacio playing the best football he has all season. Palacio picked up  a  sack and made 12 total tackles (4.0 for loss). He was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 66 yards.
 The  victory for Chester keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Palacio and Chester will head out to  challenge Dupo  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

William Waggoner Delivers Best  Effort of Season
 Wesclin was led to victory by  William Waggoner, who turned in his biggest game of the season  on Friday. Waggoner rushed for 131 yards and two touchdowns.
 Waggoner and Wesclin will challenge Red Bud at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The  game will pit Waggoner up against  the Musketeers' star rusher  Gavin Baldwin. Will the  contest be decided in the trenches? We'll have our answer very soon.

Chester Gets a Boost from Al-Jassim in  41-0  Victory
 Chester picked up their sixth consecutive win   on Friday thanks in part to  Zain Al-Jassim. Al-Jassim was unstoppable, throwing for 265 yards and three touchdowns while completing 92.9% of his passes, and also punching in a touchdown on the ground. The dominant performance also gave  him a new career-high in  rushing yards.
 If history really does repeat itself,  Al-Jassim might just drop another big game when he faces off against Dupo on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time  Al-Jassim saw the Tigers), he threw for 294 yards and three touchdowns on only ten passes, and also punched in a rushing score.

Littlepage Came Up Big in Sparta/Steeleville's  34-6  Loss
 While Sparta/Steeleville might've come up empty  on Friday,  Quintin Littlepage wasn't going down without a fight. Wesclin had no answer to  Littlepage  as he picked up 80 receiving yards, and also rushed for 75 yards. Littlepage showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 63 yards.
 Sparta/Steeleville is  on  a  six-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 0-6. Littlepage and Sparta/Steeleville will challenge Carlyle at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
