Lake Creek entered their tilt with Spring on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They managed a 56-52 victory over the Spring Lions. Lake Creek has seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Spring, too.

Lake Creek got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Caden Puckett out in front who went 9 of 12 on his way to 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jay Mcshan, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 14 rebounds.

Despite the loss, Spring still got an impressive performance from Jaylan Tran, who posted eight points. Bryce Ellebree was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Lake Creek is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.1 points per game. As for Spring, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.

Lake Creek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 71-38 loss against Cypress Creek on the 7th. Spring has also already played their next game, a 61-59 defeat against Cypress Park on the 9th.
