The Solorio Sun Warriors will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Bowen Boilermakers at 5:00 p.m. Solorio comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 21 points in their last five games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
Last Thursday, Solorio suffered a rough 31-8 loss at the hands of Chicago Washington.
Meanwhile, Bowen earned a 37-28 win over Longwood on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Bowen.
Bowen's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kimora Myles led the charge by scoring 19 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Myles has scored at least 25% of Bowen's points. Another player making a difference was Delia Walker, who scored 11 points.
Solorio's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-5. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 15.3 points per game. As for Bowen, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
