The Seaside Spartans had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They strolled past Alisal with points to spare, taking the game 65-51. This was payback for Seaside, who suffered a 69-58 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Despite the loss, Alisal still got an impressive performance from Kike Jacinto, who scored 30 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jacinto has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Adrian Cardenas, who scored seven points along with five assists.
Seaside's victory bumped their record up to 12-14. As for Alisal, their loss dropped their record down to 18-6.
Seaside didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 65-47 defeat vs. North Monterey County on the 9th. Alisal has also already played their next game, a 80-36 victory against Stevenson on the 9th.
