Meanwhile, Rocky Point had to kick off their season on the road back in December of 2024, but they showed no ill effects. They managed a 42-37 win over Amityville Memorial. The victory was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak dating back to last season.
Wyandanch's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Rocky Point, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Wyandanch didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Rocky Point when the teams last played back in February of 2022, but they still walked away with a 51-45 victory.
